Ice Spice is keeping her goals straight to the point.
The “Thootie” rapper recently appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live alongside Kate Hudson. During the show, host Andy Cohen asked both guests to share their New Year’s resolutions. While Hudson gave a thoughtful response about wanting to read more, Ice kept it short and simple, saying, “Just make more money.”
Her blunt answer sparked laughter from Hudson and Cohen. “That is real,” Cohen reacted.
“No, I’m deadass,” Ice quickly added.
One way the 25-year-old could boost her income in 2026 is through her growing acting career. Back in August, she made her film and acting debut in Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest, where she portrayed Marisol Cepeda. She also lent her voice to a character in The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, which hit theaters just last week, and contributed the track “Big Guy” to the film’s soundtrack.
Ice also stole the spotlight at the SpongeBob premiere, stepping out in a sheer white lace dress paired with a pink wig. The new live-action movie is currently playing in theaters.
As for “Big Guy,” the Bronx native recently opened up about the creative process behind the song during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
“This was probably the hundredth draft, probably, that finally made it out—that you guys are hearing,” she said. “The whole premise of the film is about Spongebob becoming a ‘big guy,’ and so I had to really incorporate that phrase throughout the song. It all turned out to really work out in the end and I’m just happy that it took this many drafts because it’s my favorite one.”
