Snoop Dogg Set to Appear in Upcoming Eli Roth Film Don’t Go in That House, Btch!*

Snoop Dogg is getting ready to step into the horror genre under the direction of Eli Roth.

According to Variety, Snoop will appear onscreen in Don’t Go in That House, Bitch! — a film he was previously announced to be producing and contributing music to.

Roth personally confirmed the update to the outlet.

“He’s been wanting to do Death Row Films for a long time,” Roth explained. “I said we need to make the ultimate haunted house movie, like the craziest one, something that mixes ‘House,’ ‘House by the Cemetery,’ ‘Hausu’ and ‘Friday, the 13th,’ like something so insane people can’t believe it exists.”

“And we’d have to call it, ‘Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!’” Roth added. “And he’s and he’s going to star in it.”

Roth also shared a few updates on the project, which he teased with a fake trailer last August. He said the script was completed over the holiday season and filming is expected to kick off in June.

“People keep going in the house. People don’t listen. What are you doing, bitch? Don’t go in that house,” Roth said. “People just keep going in. Like, what are you doing? You’re not going to come out of there. Don’t do it. Turn around. Leave! It’s basically everything that we yell at the screen during horror movies. You put those as characters in the movie like a Greek chorus.”

Snoop’s collaboration with Roth doesn’t stop there. The rapper is also set to contribute to Roth’s next film, Ice Cream Man.

“He sent me some score — not hip-hop, but actual score,” Roth revealed. “I was like, ‘Oh my god, this is incredible.’…So we have a whole section of the movie that’s completely scored by Snoop.”

Snoop and Roth have worked together before, previously teaming up on the video for Snoop’s 2012 track “La La La.”
