Indonesian influencer Lula Lahfah has passed away at just 26 years old.
CNN Indonesia reports that the content creator was found dead inside her apartment complex in South Jakarta on Friday (January 23).
“Currently, officers from the South Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit are still handling the crime scene (TKP) to look into the incident and are coordinating with the family,” said Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations Kombes Budi Hermanto.
In the weeks leading up to her death, Lahfah had been dealing with multiple health concerns. She spent New Year’s in the hospital after experiencing physical discomfort but later resumed posting consistently on social media, stopping only a few days before she died.
This is a developing story. More details to come.
Lahfah was widely followed on Instagram and TikTok, where she shared beauty and lifestyle content. She initially gained online attention by uploading cover songs on SoundCloud before eventually releasing her own original music.
Her boyfriend, Reza Oktovian, is a member of a music group that canceled a scheduled performance following the news of Lahfah’s death. In a statement, the group cited “unfortunate news,” explaining that one of its members was “not currently in a prime condition and shape to be on the stage.”
