Flyysoulja Checks Into Rehab Following Drug-Induced Psychosis

Flyysoulja is making a serious move toward getting his life back on track.

The Island Boys rapper has officially checked into rehab, months after going through a drug-induced psychotic episode.

“I’m going to detox right now to get the help I need. I can’t wait. I’ve been here before, but this time I’m going to take it a lot more serious,” he told TMZ.

Flyysoulja described the decision as a major turning point, calling it “good news” and a “very powerful moment.”

His rehab stay follows a disturbing incident in Florida last year, when he was taken into custody under the state’s Baker Act, which permits temporary involuntary mental health evaluations. Authorities said he had consumed multiple substances and was experiencing a psychotic episode at the time.

Police reportedly grew concerned for his safety after mistaking nail polish on his body for blood, fearing he might harm himself.

After the incident, Flyysoulja later spoke out publicly, stressing that substance use — not mental illness — was at the core of the situation.

“I have a substance issue, not a mental problem,” he said at the time.

Now, Flyysoulja seems focused on making real changes and coming out stronger on the other side.

Fans have since taken to social media to show love and support, praising the rapper for seeking help and wishing him well on his recovery journey.
