Sexyy Red is once again questioning why a strange conspiracy theory about her refuses to die.
In a string of posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, the 27-year-old rapper addressed claims that she’s secretly a CIA agent. “Why tf yal keep sayin I work wit da CIA what dat post to mean??” she tweeted, before following up minutes later with, “Yal did yal taxes already?”\
This isn’t the first time the rapper has felt the need to address the rumor, which originally took off after a parody account called Daily Noud — a spoof of the popular news page Daily Loud — jokingly posted a fake screenshot of what were claimed to be leaked government documents. The obviously fabricated document alleged that Sexyy Red was secretly working as a CIA operative under an operation dubbed “Agent Bow Bow,” described as “highly destabilizing and culturally critical.”
Sexyy Red reposted the image and played along, joking, “Damn they got me shattt.”
The theory continued to spread even after the parody account made it clear the documents were fake. Back in 2024, she also responded directly to a post claiming she gave off “CIA vibes” because her “entire brand is degeneracy.” The rapper, who has frequently been criticized for her sexually explicit music, fired back with a blunt, “Fawk u btch.”
More recently, Sexyy Red went viral again after appearing to shoot her shot at Pooh Shiesty. After he shared a photo of his physique on his Instagram Stories, Red made her feelings obvious by commenting with a lip-biting and tongue-out emoji.
