Cardi B is threatening legal action against TMZ if the outlet doesn’t take down a video showing her taking a tumble after dancing on a robot — although it’s unclear whether she’s completely serious.
The warning came after the media platform shared footage of her recent run-in with a very lucky robot in San Francisco. In the now-viral clip, Cardi is seen playfully and sensually dancing around the motionless machine as it stands upright and unfazed.
She circles from behind the robot to face it, placing her hands on its shoulders. In the process, she either pulls the robot forward — or the machine suddenly shifts as if responding to her.
Either way, Cardi loses her balance and falls backward, landing on the ground while laughing. She’s quickly helped back to her feet by stunned onlookers nearby.
After TMZ shared the clip, Cardi reacted by saying she was “callin Harvey,” a nod to the outlet’s founder, Harvey Levin.
“Delete or I will sue …immediately,” she wrote.
This marks Cardi’s latest brush with an increasingly AI-driven world. She recently shared her annoyance over how some of her older relatives interact with artificial intelligence on Facebook.
The platform has become flooded with AI posing as real life, from heavy photo filters to fake videos that easily convince people of far-fetched conspiracy theories.
“Free my older family members from Facebook Ai,” the rapper wrote.
