Ricky Martin shared a brotherly hug with Bad Bunny after appearing as a guest performer during the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.
Lady Gaga also made a surprise appearance during Sunday’s (Feb. 8) halftime show, adding a Latin flair to her Bruno Mars-assisted hit “Die With a Smile.” Other celebrities, including Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, Karol G and Young Miko, popped up during the casita portion of the performance.
Following the show, Benito, Martin and Gaga posed for photos near their trailers, and the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer later took to Twitter to reflect on the special moment. In a video shared afterward, Bad Bunny was seen warmly embracing Martin after the Latin pop star sang a verse from his Debí Tirar Más Fotos track “Lo que le Pasó a Hawaii.” The two previously teamed up on the 2018 song “Caro.”
The two-time Grammy winner later took to Twitter to share his emotions following the performance, writing, “They need to give me several hours to let me process and understand the tsunami of emotions I’m feeling,” before adding, “Thank you @sanbenito, thank you @ladygaga thank you @NFL, @RocNation and @AppleMusic.”
While the show marked Ricky Martin’s first-ever Super Bowl halftime appearance, Bad Bunny was no stranger to the stage, having previously appeared as a guest during the 2020 halftime show headlined by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. Ahead of this year’s performance, Lopez — along with former halftime headliner Katy Perry — sent their well wishes to the “EoO” artist as he prepared to take center stage.
“Bad Bunny…sending you all the love, positivity and the biggest hug in the world,” Lopez posted on X. “We are all with you tonight! I know you’re gonna crush it. I’m here with you the same way you were there for me. So proud to be Boricua! Dale fuerte Benito. The way only you can do it! #LatinoGangGang”
