Blueface says Cardi B had him feeling a little distracted during their performance of “Thotiana” at the Kia Forum in Inglewood this week.
After the show, Blueface took to Instagram Stories and joked that he almost forgot the lyrics to his 2018 hit, blaming the moment on Cardi’s onstage energy.
“I ain’t gon’ lie. Cardi had me a little nervous, you feel me?” he said. “When she started shaking that little booty, I damn near forgot the song I was rapping. Sad. I was on medium-rare, n***a. Dead homies. Shit. I just can’t get her booty out my head now. Like, fuck.”
He continued the bit by playfully telling himself to “stop thinking about her ass,” even going as far as lightly slapping his own face.
The performance was part of Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama Tour, which is set to make its next stop in Portland on Feb. 19. Other cities on the Am I the Drama? run this month include Vancouver, Seattle, Sacramento, and San Francisco. The tour will officially wrap in April with two back-to-back shows at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
According to Kehlani — who attended one of the Inglewood dates and even hit the stage as a special guest — Cardi’s current production is “one of the most insane shows” she’s ever witnessed.
Meanwhile, Blueface has continued to stay in the spotlight for multiple reasons in recent months. In January, he popped up on several new releases, including “VIBES” alongside Rich the Kid and DDG.
