Jaden Smith says he’s determined to help make sure no one in Skid Row goes without food.
In a recent post shared on his TikTok account, the 27-year-old actor, musician, and philanthropist opened up about his “dream” of supporting people in the downtown Los Angeles neighborhood — an area where nearly 4,000 residents are experiencing homelessness.
“Honestly, my dream in life is to have a building on Skid Row where I can give out free meals every single day: breakfast, lunch, dinner,” Jaden Smith shared in the video. “I can do things inside of it—I can create jobs and, like, a good vibe. That’s my real dream, that’s my long term goal.”
Back in 2019, he introduced his “I Love You” vegan food truck, an initiative focused on serving meals to unhoused residents in Skid Row.
He continued, “We don’t have a brick and mortar store right now. We don’t have a place that we can be set up at all times, but I want to have that and I want the community to help us get there in the future, so that’s the plan.”
While attending Druski’s screening of Coulda Been Love Season 2 on Wednesday (Feb. 11), Smith also gave an animated response.
“I see that you’re working with Steven Smith, who designed Yeezy footwear with Ye,” Jillian Hardeman-Webb said to Jaden Smith. “What are y’all cooking up?”
Instead of answering, Jaden simply looked up and walked off. As he made his way further down the carpet, Hardeman-Webb turned to the camera and joked, “I guess we’ll never find out.”

Jaden Smith later shared the clip on his TikTok, adding the caption, “When you’re supposed to be talking about feeding the Skid Row community but your homie.”
