Tasha K’s reporting often sparks controversy, and this time it’s Claressa Shields who’s not holding back.
The multi-division boxing champion is making it clear she’s had enough. In a heated clip captured by Live Bitez, Shields calls out Tasha K directly, criticizing her journalistic approach and accusing the blogger of spreading false information about her specifically.
The 30-year-old boxer referenced an interview Tasha K allegedly conducted with one of her unnamed cousins, claiming it was filled with outright falsehoods about her. While the exact details of what was said haven’t been made clear, Claressa made it obvious she wasn’t pleased with the sit-down.
“Respond to Tasha K’s bald-headed as for what?! For what?!” Claressa fired off as she launched into her rant. “Like, all y’all do is lie… I’ll respond to y’all when you btches tell the truth… Tell the truth about what’s really going on.”
She didn’t stop there.
“Nobody wanna tell the truth… they all want clout. And they broke! Tasha K—all she wanna do is just keep using her platform to talk about whatever is hot because she want to get some clout,” Claressa continued.
Then she took things a step further, adding that if Tasha K doesn’t mention her, “she don’t get paid from that raggedy a*s YouTube channel because she owe Cardi B $4 million.”
Shields was referencing the defamation case Tasha K lost to Cardi B in 2022, which resulted in a $3.9 million judgment. Last year, an agreement was reached requiring Tasha to pay $1.2 million over five years, submit quarterly financial records, and refrain from making “derogatory, disparaging, or defamatory” remarks about Cardi or her family.
Claressa wrapped up her rant by claiming Tasha K completely switched up on her after previously showing support for her relationship with Papoose.
Whether this turns into something bigger remains to be seen.
As for Papoose, things appear to still be solid between him and Shields. During a December interview with Justin Laboy, she even hinted at marriage being in their future. “I always said I wanted to get my husband name tatted on me. I always said that. So, me and Pap are not married yet, but we will be.”
More recently, she also jumped on X to strongly defend the strength of their relationship after a critic tried to question it.
