Earlier this decade, Future found himself in court over a coparenting dispute involving Eliza Reign. While things have been relatively quiet since then, she’s now back in the spotlight after sharing a chilling video on Instagram.
According to footage reposted by Livebitez, Eliza captured a moment showing her daughter and her cousin playing in the driveway of her home. In the clip, a white van pulls up, and the driver steps out. However, the situation quickly shifted when Eliza opened the garage door—she says the man immediately rushed off, offering a quick apology and claiming he had the wrong address. The entire encounter, including audio, was caught on camera. In her caption, Eliza warned that the situation could have been an attempted kidnapping.
“I was in the kitchen cooking dinner for the kids when I heard this beeping sound,” she wrote. “It felt like a warning, so I went outside, and what do I see? A guy in a white van with tinted windows backed up in my driveway. As soon as he saw me open the garage door, he took off running! He casually yelled, ‘Oh, sorry, wrong address,’ like he didn’t bother to check before pulling in!
“Seriously, keep an eye on your kids when they’re outside,” Eliza Reign added. “I’m glad I listened to my gut and went out. Usually, I don’t let Reign play outside alone, but today was one of the first times I did since her cousin is here for spring break. Lesson learned never again!”
Eliza Reign first caught the attention of hip-hop audiences after welcoming her daughter with Future in April of 2019. Beyond that, she’s built a name for herself as a reality TV personality, real estate agent, entrepreneur, and a highly active social media influencer.
Earlier this decade, she and Future were locked in a child support dispute, though there haven’t been any recent developments on that front. As of now, Future has yet to publicly respond to the reported kidnapping scare, leaving many waiting to see if he’ll address it.
For the time being, Eliza Reign appears to be putting the frightening incident behind her while staying extra cautious when it comes to her family’s safety.
