SHINee Reveals New Korean Concert Dates as Key Returns to the Group After Hiatus

SHINee is gearing up for a long-awaited return to the stage.

On Friday (March 27), the legendary four-member K-pop group — Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin — revealed plans for a three-night concert run in Seoul, South Korea. The shows, titled The Trilogy I – 2026 SHINee WORLD VIII: [THE INVERT], are set to take place from May 29 to 31 at the KSPO Dome.

The upcoming concerts will mark the group’s first performance together in a year. It also signals Key’s return, as this will be his first time back on stage after a five-month hiatus tied to controversy surrounding his alleged relationship with an unlicensed medical practitioner known as “Injection Aunt.”

For SHINee’s Korean fanbase, fan club pre-sales kick off on March 30 at 8 p.m. KST, while general ticket sales will begin on April 1 at 8 p.m. KST.

Fans outside South Korea may also have a chance to grab tickets through SM Entertainment’s official global travel platform.

Originally debuting as a five-member group under SM Entertainment in 2008, SHINee quickly built a strong legacy with hits like “Replay,” “Lucifer,” “Sherlock (Clue + Note),” and “View.”

The group faced a heartbreaking moment in 2017 with the passing of member Jonghyun. In tribute, the remaining members dedicated their 2018 album The Story of Light, along with its single “Our Page,” to their late bandmate.

More recently, the members have been focusing on solo ventures. Onew dropped his EP Tough Love earlier this month, while Minho released his debut solo single “Tempo” in December.

Taemin has also made major moves, recently signing with Galaxy Corporation, placing him alongside BIGBANG’s G-Dragon. He’s set to perform a solo set at Coachella 2026 and will also be featured in a solo exhibition at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, opening on April 1.
