Britney Spears Claims Ex-Bodyguard Hacked Her iCloud and Phones

Britney Spears is reportedly considering legal action against a former bodyguard, accusing him of illegally accessing her personal devices and iCloud account.

According to a cease-and-desist letter sent by Spears’ attorney last month and obtained by TMZ, ex-employee Thomas Bunbury allegedly accessed the singer’s electronic devices and Apple iCloud account after his employment ended. The letter claims he obtained private information without her permission and warns that the alleged actions could breach both state and federal laws.

Spears’ legal team is demanding that Bunbury immediately stop accessing any of her accounts or devices, erase any materials he may have obtained, and reveal whether her personal files, photos, or documents were shared with anyone else.

The letter also makes it clear that Spears is ready to involve law enforcement and pursue criminal charges if the situation escalates.

The conflict reportedly traces back to Bunbury’s exit from Spears’ team last summer. He was let go in August after allegedly breaching a nondisclosure agreement by speaking with the media and interacting with Spears’ fans. The alleged unauthorized access is said to have started after his dismissal.

In the months that followed, Spears experienced ongoing trouble logging into her accounts and was locked out multiple times. Her legal team now suspects those issues could be tied to the alleged breaches.

These claims add to what has already been a challenging period for the singer. Earlier this month, Spears made headlines after being arrested on suspicion of DUI in California. She was later released, with her representatives stating she would fully cooperate with the legal process.

Following that incident, her ex-husband Sam Asghari came to her defense, calling for privacy and reminding the public that “everybody makes mistakes.”

In recent years, Spears has also been vocal about concerns surrounding control, privacy, and access to her personal life, especially after her conservatorship ended in 2021. The arrangement, which lasted over a decade, had placed significant control over her finances and daily decisions in the hands of others.
