Tori Spelling was recently caught up in a car accident in Temecula, California, with seven people inside the vehicle.
The crash happened on April 2 when a speeding driver reportedly ran a red light and collided with Spelling’s car. Four of those in the vehicle were her children, while the remaining three were their friends.
According to TMZ, “Everyone is doing alright… And, our sources say that might be due to Tori’s quick thinking—and the way she maneuvered the vehicle to minimize a more severe impact.”
Spelling and the others were taken to the hospital in three separate ambulances, where they were treated for cuts, bruises, and concussions. Authorities confirmed that no arrests have been made.
This isn’t the first time Tori Spelling has been involved in a car accident. Back in 2011, she crashed into a wall while trying to escape paparazzi. Even after the incident, the same photographers continued attempting to snap pictures of her and her two young children, who were just three and four years old at the time. Spelling was also pregnant with her third child during the ordeal.
She spoke out about the incident on Twitter shortly after it happened. “Paparazzi chased me with the kids to school,” she said. “I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident. Took down whole wall of school. He then STILL got out to try to get pics. 10 school moms chased him away. What will it take? Someone dying for paparazzi to stop?”
Spelling shares five children with her ex-husband, Dean McDermott, who is also known for hosting Chopped Canada. The former couple ended their marriage in 2023 after more than 15 years together. Despite the split, they described it as amicable and agreed to joint legal custody. Spelling, however, has primary physical custody of their children—Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau—whose ages range from nine to 19.
