Desiigner placed a 911 call on the same night he was arrested in South Carolina on domestic violence charges, according to newly surfaced audio.
As reported by TMZ, the rapper told a dispatcher that a woman was allegedly trying to steal his car.
“She’s trying to do grand theft auto on my car … She has my son, I need my son,” he said.
During the call, he appeared to tell the woman to “kill herself,” while also admitting to the dispatcher that he was experiencing suicidal thoughts.
At another point, Desiigner sounded distressed, claiming that “somebody put something bad in my weed.”
He also told the dispatcher he had an Airsoft gun on him “just to have one,” and alleged that the woman “bothers him every day,” adding that he has “receipts” of her appearing on his surveillance cameras.
When asked about his location, he said he had already driven away from the scene to get away from her.
Last month, Desiigner was arrested in South Carolina over an alleged domestic violence incident. The woman involved—reportedly the mother of his child—told authorities that an argument between them turned physical.
She claimed her sweatpants were ripped during the altercation after he grabbed car keys from her. In the 911 audio, the rapper can also be heard arguing about those keys.
According to her statement, Desiigner placed their child in a car seat and then threw her to the ground when she tried to intervene. Police reported that she had minor scratches on her arm and back.
Following the arrest, Desiigner was released after posting a $1,500 bond.
