Offset Makes Stage Comeback Just Days After Casino Shooting

Offset is already back in motion less than a week after being caught up in a casino shooting on April 6 in Florida.

By April 11, Offset shared a photo of himself onstage, though details about the event remain unclear. In the clip, he’s seen rising from a wheelchair to loud cheers from the crowd. He captioned the moment simply, “REAL LOVE.”

Offset seems to be recovering well after being shot outside a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, taking to social media to reassure fans that he’s okay.

“Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love!” Offset shared in a statement posted on Friday (April 10). “I’m good….but I’m planning to be better! I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music…realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses…. Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”

While details around the incident remain limited, authorities confirmed that Lil Tjay was charged with disorderly conduct—affray, a first-degree misdemeanor under Florida Statute 870.01. His lawyer later clarified, “Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting.”

Shortly after the incident, Offset’s representative told Complex that he had been “shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,” noting that he was stable and under close observation at the time.

By the next day, Offset was already spotted outside the hospital, even stepping out briefly for a smoke break—another sign that he’s been on the mend.
