Machine Gun Kelly Says He’s Banned From TSA PreCheck Over Past Drug Possession

Machine Gun Kelly has shared that he’s currently unable to use TSA PreCheck due to a past drug-related offense tied to a cocaine incident in New Zealand.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Take Flight podcast, the Cleveland artist revealed early in the conversation that he was “caught with cocaine” while returning from New Zealand.

He went on to explain, “Traveling was difficult because I have a level one narcotics possession or whatever. So it makes it hard for me to get visas and all that stuff to get over here,” adding, “I think my statute of limitations is like 10 years or something.”

The Lost Americana artist Machine Gun Kelly also shared that he still avoids TSA PreCheck and similar fast-track airport options, saying he’s “still stuck in the lines like normal.”

The father of two has been open about how his past drug use affected his relationships, including with his daughter Casie and ex-fiancée Megan Fox, who reportedly asked him to leave her home after he briefly relapsed.

Back in 2024, MGK opened up about a turning point in his sobriety journey, revealing that his then-16-year-old daughter played a major role.

“That was step one for me. As a father and as a man, to be the father I wish my dad would have been, I have to break this generational curse for my kid,” he said during an episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game, noting that she told him she “can tell” when he’s high.
