Drake’s Toronto Video Shoot Ignites Fresh Tour Buzz for “ICEMAN”

Drake took over Toronto last night, cruising through the city on a truck stacked with ice blocks as he filmed a music video for his upcoming album “ICEMAN,” set to drop soon.

With less than two weeks to go until the release, attention is already beginning to shift from what Drake has in store on the album to what moves he’ll make once it’s out. During the Toronto shoot on Saturday, May 2, fans quickly picked up on subtle details—especially the outfits worn by his team.

As highlighted by Bars on Instagram, several fan pages and listeners noticed crew members rocking “Freeze The World” hoodies, instantly sparking conversation. This comes alongside reported activity from Live Nation hinting at the album rollout, leading many to believe a major tour partnership could be in the works.

Nothing has been officially confirmed, and for now, it remains speculation. Still, “Freeze The World” has already shown up in Drake’s ICEMAN zine and other promo content, making it a strong thematic thread for the project—whether it’s tied to a track, a lyric, or upcoming merch branding.

If it does point to a tour, fans have every reason to be excited. It’s been a minute since Drake hit stages across the United States and beyond, and a global run would likely be huge. As for timing, nothing is locked in, but a late summer or early fall 2026 kickoff doesn’t seem out of reach.

Drake is set to release his new album ICEMAN on May 15. While some supposed insiders and fans believe it might drop in a surprising format, others are simply expecting the signature sound he’s known for. Either way, there’s growing anticipation for at least one more single or some added rollout momentum before the release date hits.

Beyond that, the music video shoot has sparked even more curiosity due to other production moments tied to it. One of the biggest talking points was a controlled explosion in Toronto, which the OVO boss himself claimed. It’s unclear if everything connects to one big vision or if multiple visuals will roll out either immediately or later on.

The explosion’s “PROJECT BOT” label also got people talking, much like “Freeze The World” did earlier. For now, fans will have to sit tight and wait for ICEMAN to fully melt before all the clues start making sense.
