Adin Ross was beyond hyped after hearing Drake give him a shoutout on a new track from the Iceman album.
The 25-year-old streamer, seated among OVO-inspired ice sculptures, was live on stream Thursday night (May 14) while tuning into the premiere of Drake’s Iceman Episode 4 on YouTube.
Ross was left stunned and excited after Drake shouted him out on the song “Make Them Pay,” rapping, “Dawg, I was Adin Ross with streams before Adin Ross had ever streamed.”
“What the fuck?” Ross yelled in disbelief. “Yo! Holy shit. What the fuck? I made it! … Chat, on my mom and dad’s life—on my sister’s, on everything, I didn’t know I was there. I swear to God, he never told me. That’s crazy.”
Drake later joined Ross on a short FaceTime call during the stream.
“Hey bro, you did it. The entire chat, the entire world—you did it, bro,” Ross told Drake. “I love you.”
“I love you, too,” Drake replied.
Notably, “Make Them Pay” is also the track where Drake appeared to take aim at former collaborator DJ Khaled over his lack of public support for Palestine.
Several familiar faces popped up during Drake’s Iceman livestream, including DJ Akademiks, BenDaDonn, Shane Gillis, and others.
Drake released three new albums on Friday night (May 15), marking his first solo studio projects since For All the Dogs dropped in October 2023. He later followed it up with a Scary Hours edition a month after its release.
Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti also mark Drake’s first albums since his highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar dominated headlines in the summer of 2024.
