The latest arrest comes only days after Kodak Black was reportedly taken into custody in Orange County, Florida, on May 6 over drug-related charges. The consecutive legal troubles have once again put the rapper’s personal life under intense public attention. Throughout the years, Kodak has repeatedly made headlines over arrests, probation issues, and other legal problems that have occasionally disrupted his music career.
As HNHH previously noted, it often seems that whenever momentum begins building around Kodak’s music again, “another mugshot or court case pulls the conversation away from the music.” As a result, many continue questioning whether the rapper can avoid further trouble long enough for the spotlight to stay on his career.
The Florida rapper has faced numerous legal problems throughout his career, with several arrests grabbing headlines over the years. Despite that, Kodak Black has still managed to become one of the most commercially successful artists to come out of South Florida in the past decade.
Kodak Black has also continued putting out music consistently while dealing with ongoing personal and legal controversies that have trailed his career for years.
At this time, neither Kodak Black nor his representatives have spoken publicly about the latest arrest. More details are expected to emerge once the official court filings become available.
