Kanye West’s Concert in New Delhi Has Officially Been Called Off

Another one of Kanye West’s planned performances has reportedly been shelved, this time in India amid concerns over “socio-political” tensions.

It appears Ye’s issues surrounding live shows are continuing to grow. Over the last several months, the rapper has announced possible concerts across multiple countries, only for many of them to later be canceled because of the controversies tied to him. Despite remaining one of the most influential artists in music with a decades-long career, Kanye’s repeated scandals — including inflammatory comments connected to Nazism and far-right political ideologies — have caused major backlash and concern.

According to TMZ, West had been scheduled to perform in New Delhi at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium next week on May 23. However, the outlet reported that Indian officials raised concerns over possible security threats tied to “rising socio-political tensions.”

Kanye West Has Faced Multiple Concert Cancellations Lately

In addition, White Fox addressed Ye’s latest canceled performance in a statement shared on Instagram.

“We are deeply disheartened to announce that Ye live in India, scheduled for May 2026 in New Delhi, has been officially canceled following security advisories and directives issued by the concerned government and law enforcement authorities amid the current high-alert situation in the capital.”

The New Delhi show is now one of several international dates tied to Ye that have been called off in recent months. The rapper had also been expected to perform in both Switzerland and Poland, but plans reportedly fell apart after public backlash and protests. Some event organizers pointed to Kanye’s controversial statements over the years, while others were concerned about possible unrest or criticism if the shows moved forward.

At the same time, West has seemingly been attempting to repair his public image by apologizing for some of his past behavior and meeting with religious leaders. Fans who already purchased tickets for the New Delhi concert are reportedly expected to receive full refunds.
