Cardi B Clears Up Rumors About Selling Her Birkin Bags on Poshmark: “I’m Soo Confused”

Cardi B says she’s left “confused” after a social media user claimed she was putting her luxury handbags up for sale.

The speculation started on Tuesday (May 26) after a post from one of Cardi’s critics surfaced on X, making several accusations about the rapper.

“NEW: former pole dancer and rapper turned influencer @iamcardib is selling her birkins. This follows after her self-funded tour made no profits and her label went up for sale,” the post read. It also featured a screenshot of a Birkin bag listing that appeared to misleadingly tie the sale to an account using Cardi’s name.

Meanwhile, another user came to her defense with a joke, writing, “Cardi would literally start driving Uber before she ever sells a Birkin y’all do not know that woman at all lollili.”

Cardi B quickly shut the rumors down herself, replying, “I got all of my 40 Hermes bags who the fuck said I was sellin my shit ?”

As the rumors continued circulating online, another user defended the rapper, writing, “yall want cardi to look broke like yall fav so bad to the point where yall photoshopping now? [crying emoji].” The user also posted a screenshot revealing that the Birkin bag actually belonged to someone else entirely.

Cardi B later reacted again, questioning where the rumors even came from. “What made them start these random ass lies ? Did something happened? I’m soo confused?” she wrote.

The accusations made in the original post also appeared to clash with publicly available details.

Did Cardi B actually lose money on her Little Miss Drama Tour?
Contrary to the viral claims, Cardi B’s 2026 Little Miss Drama Tour was not completely self-funded. The tour was produced by Live Nation Entertainment.

During a recent X Spaces livestream, Cardi claimed Live Nation gave her a $20 million advance to cover production expenses. She also said she personally added several million dollars of her own money into the production, allegedly pushing the budget to around $35 million.

Figures shared by Billboard reported that the tour grossed over $70 million while selling approximately 453,000 tickets.

In another X livestream, Cardi explained that her long-term goal is to fill stadiums with “90,000 people” similar to Bad Bunny.

Is Cardi B’s label Atlantic Records really up for sale?
The viral post also recycled rumors claiming Atlantic Records was struggling financially and possibly being sold.

However, there has been no official confirmation backing those claims. The label remains home to major artists including Bruno Mars, Coldplay, and Rosé, among others.
