Yung Miami Bows Out of BossMan Dlow’s Motion Party Tour

BossMan Dlow’s summer tour has hit an unexpected pause. The rapper announced that his Motion Party Tour has been postponed after what he described as a “last-minute departure by Yung Miami,” leaving fans wondering what comes next for the remaining tour dates.

“Due to an unexpected, last-minute departure by Yung Miami, we are postponing The Motion Party Tour,” Dlow wrote on Instagram. “We will share updates regarding rescheduled dates as soon as possible.”

The 25-city tour was originally set to run from July 16 through Aug. 29, with BossMan Dlow and Yung Miami scheduled to perform in cities across the country. Bally Baby was also slated to join the tour. The lineup paired two Florida artists who have each been enjoying major career moments, with BossMan Dlow continuing the momentum from his breakout success and Yung Miami entering the summer following the highest-charting solo Hot 100 hit of her career.

Yung Miami Continues to Ride the Wave of “Spend Dat”

Yung Miami has been enjoying the success of her hit single “Spend Dat” in recent months. The track debuted at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 and quickly gained traction with fans. However, its popularity has also been accompanied by criticism. The song’s lyrics about boosting and spending someone else’s money, along with a social media challenge inspired by the track, have sparked debate over whether it glorifies theft. The discussion intensified after Bellevue police reportedly cited a TikTok featuring “Spend Dat” as a key lead in a retail theft investigation. Neither Yung Miami nor the song was accused of any involvement in the alleged crime.

The backlash has also reignited a long-running conversation about lyrical content in Hip Hop. Supporters of Miami argue that rap has historically included themes of drug dealing, robbery, violence, and other criminal activity—whether based on real experiences, fictional storytelling, or artistic exaggeration. They believe the criticism directed at “Spend Dat” holds Miami to a different standard than many artists whose music has explored similar subjects. Despite the controversy, the song has continued to perform well, making her unexpected exit from the tour even more surprising.

So far, BossMan Dlow has not provided any additional information about Yung Miami’s departure or how long the tour postponement is expected to last. While some ticketing platforms still list her as part of the lineup, others have updated the shows as postponed, leaving the future of the remaining Motion Party Tour dates—and Miami’s involvement—uncertain.
