Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lil Durk have had a long-running feud for years, and their rivalry has gained renewed attention amid Durk’s murder-for-hire trial.
During the trial, prosecutors’ witness OTF Jam testified against Smurk and mentioned 6ix9ine while discussing Durk’s alleged frustration with people pushing “slide for [King] Von” narratives.
According to No Jumper on Instagram, Tekashi responded by highlighting how multiple media outlets — which he claims have different biases — were covering Jam’s controversial testimony and his name being mentioned. He also took shots at Durk’s Muslim faith and mocked what he described as Durk’s alleged “one foot in, one foot out” approach by jokingly promoting a new fashion trend.
Beyond the online back-and-forth, the New York provocateur also revealed plans to throw a “going-away party” for The Voice. He invited DJ Akademiks to the event during a phone conversation on Ak’s livestream, which was captured by Akademiks TV on Twitter.
“When this n***a get found guilty, you coming to my party?” Tekashi asked.
Akademiks did not appear particularly interested in the invitation, leaving fans to see how far Tekashi’s trolling will continue from here.
The ongoing feud between 6ix9ine and Lil Durk has sparked even more discussions surrounding the topic of snitching. This comes after 6ix9ine accused Durk of trying to shift responsibility in the murder-for-hire case, framing the move as an act of telling on someone else. However, many people have challenged that argument, including fans, legal professionals, and individuals connected to the case.
Meanwhile, OTF Jam and Lil Durk have both faced criticism during the ongoing back-and-forth, with different sides accusing both of being informants. It remains a complicated discussion, especially because of the gap between legal definitions and street expectations. Regardless, the focus of the trial remains on the evidence and facts presented in court.
It remains to be seen whether Lil Durk or anyone else will respond to the continued trolling from 6ix9ine and other opponents. While a response seems unlikely, anything can happen. As the case continues, further developments may lead to even more debates surrounding hip-hop culture, media coverage, and public conversations around the situation.
