Quavo is gearing up for an especially busy few months after already putting in plenty of work lately. He recently teased an upcoming reunion album from the Migos, with the project serving as a tribute from him and Offset to the legacy of the late Takeoff. However, before that arrives, Quavo’s new solo album QRÖMELIFE is set to drop next week on Friday, October 2, and he has now revealed its packed feature list and full tracklist to build anticipation.
The new LP features executive production from none other than Pharrell Williams. He is handling the production across the entire project, and fans have already gotten a taste of his work through the three singles released during the rollout. “HAAVIN” gave listeners the first preview after plenty of teasing, while “Trance (Walk It Down)” pushed the excitement even further. Then came “Backwards”, which featured T.I. and marked the first official guest appearance announced for the album.
Watching the two Atlanta MCs trade bars was a standout moment, and the singles have longtime fans eager to hear what the full project has in store. On top of that, an unrelated viral trend has been giving Quavo’s profile another boost, which is always helpful during an album rollout. Fans have been creating AI-generated videos that replace Huncho and Takeoff in their “Hotel Lobby” COLORS performance with other people.
With that extra attention surrounding the rollout, Quavo has now revealed the album’s feature list. He shared the details on social media, and according to Instagram, the guest lineup is looking promising.
Across 14 tracks on QRÖMELIFE, Quavo has lined up a Future collaboration titled “BA,” the Offset-assisted “Away,” “Ball My Love” featuring Lil Baby, the Yung Miami collaboration “”HAOYU DEWDAT,” and “House Music” with Justin Timberlake. There’s also the previously mentioned “Backwards” with Tip. But the biggest and most unexpected reveal may be “Baby Breath,” which features not only Pharrell, but also Tyler, The Creator and A$AP Rocky.
The track marks Huncho and Tyler’s first-ever collaboration, while it also reunites Quavo and Rocky for the first time since 2017’s “RAF.” Given Pharrell’s involvement, the combination makes sense, but the unexpected pairing is still a major surprise that has fans eager to hear what they created.
