Taylor Swift, who recently tied the knot with Travis Kelce, has maintained her reign at the top of the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart for the third consecutive week with her hit song “Patient Zero.”
This is far from Swift’s first chart-topping achievement. “Patient Zero” is her third U.K. No. 1 hit of the year, following “Opalite” and the Toy Story 5 track “I Knew It, I Knew You.”
“Patient Zero” was released as part of the Encore deluxe edition of Swift’s latest studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. The expanded edition also features three additional tracks: “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.” Last month, Swift premiered the music video for “Patient Zero” at the 2026 MTV VMAs, where she was also honored with the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors award.
“I started making music videos and appearing in them 20 years ago, and since then, I’ve been involved in creating roughly 60 music videos,” Swift said at the VMAs while accepting the honor, according to Billboard. “Eighteen of those I wrote and directed, and I really love writing and directing music videos.”
She continued, “I gotta tell you, though, the main reason why I love writing and directing music videos so much is because you, the fans, make it so much fun. You make it so rewarding. You actually care about what we’re making.”
The 2026 MTV VMAs were held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, where Swift turned heads in a black and silver Tamara Ralph Couture gown.
Meanwhile, Jamie Miller claimed the No. 2 position on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart with “Babydoll,” while Ashe secured the third spot with “Stop the Wedding!”
