Drake made a surprise appearance at Ye’s Houston concert on Halloween, catching everyone off guard in a moment that certainly wasn’t on anyone’s 2026 bingo card.
Last Saturday (Oct. 31), Ye took the stage for a sold-out performance at Houston’s Reliant Stadium, attracting a reported 80,210 fans and setting a new record for the highest attendance at a hip-hop concert in the United States.
As Drake watched from the crowd alongside Travis Scott, North West made a special appearance, performing “Legacy” and “Talking.” Playboi Carti also joined Ye on stage for “Carnival” and “Off the Grid,” along with “Evil J0rdan” and “FE!N.”
At one point during the show, Ye even gave his former rival a shout-out from the stage.
“They caught you coming in late, Drake,” Ye said.
Earlier that evening, Drake and Travis were also spotted sitting courtside at the Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game.
Drake and Ye have had a complicated relationship over the years, with their connection swinging between mutual respect and public disagreements. However, Ye appears to have been making efforts to mend their relationship in recent months. Last March, he openly expressed his love for Drake and later tried to get Aubrey involved in his Bully track, “Preacher Man.” More recently, Drake seemingly returned the gesture by liking an Instagram post last month showing the Chicago rapper unveiling a street sign dedicated to his late mother.
