Two stars from School of Rock just made it official.
Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, who played Marta and Frankie in the beloved 2003 Jack Black film, celebrated their wedding at New Jersey’s Chateau Grande Hotel in East Brunswick, People reports.
The celebration turned into a mini School of Rock reunion with castmates Rivkah Reyes, Brian Falduto, Joey Gaydos Jr., Robert Tsai, Maryam Hassan, Aleisha Allen, and Cole Hawkins all showing up to support the couple.
Rivkah Reyes (who played Katie the bassist) shared the wedding festivities on TikTok, using Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen” as the soundtrack – a clever reference to the memorable scene where Principal Mullins (Joan Cusack) and Dewey Finn (Jack Black) perform that song together after a few drinks.
“My first School of Rock audition feels like yesterday,” Massagli shared with Inside Edition back in 2021. “This little blonde girl goes in before me and starts belting show tunes – just absolutely kills it. It was amazing.
“All us School of Rock kids have this group chat where we keep up with each other’s big life moves,” he added. “So Caitlin drops in saying, ‘Hey, heading down to Florida.'”
That update led to lunch, then dinner, followed by drinks, and by 2016 they were officially a couple.
“And that’s how it happened,” Hale put simply.
The pair have since left Hollywood behind – Hale works as an OB-GYN ultrasound tech while Massagli practices law at a major music company.
