Kodak Black senses trouble brewing among rap listeners, predicting they’ll switch up on him similar to Drake’s situation in the Kendrick Lamar beef.
The Florida rapper hit up Instagram Live to call out what he sees as a brewing plot against him, drawing parallels to Drake’s experience during his heated clash with K.Dot.
Kodak believes the writing’s on the wall and wants everyone to take notice.
“Soon enough they gonna try to flip on me like they did Drake,” he shared, pointing to Drizzy’s springtime drama with Kendrick. “Watch them start this whole anti-Kodak movement. If you’re not feeling Kodak, keep it pushing. Y’all can see how they’re all ganging up right now.”
Kodak’s got a track record of dropping Drake’s name during his Instagram Live sessions. Back in December, he declared himself as Drake’s number one pick and mentioned how Kendrick got him on Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.
“Drake calls me his favorite rapper. He says it all the time. His crew says it too,” Kodak shared. “It’s wild how Kendrick beat you to working with me, you feel me?”
He then spilled about that mysterious $600K Bitcoin gift from Drake last year. “Now I get why he dropped that money on me out of nowhere like that.”
In another Live session, Kodak admitted he had some beef with Drake for dropping Her Loss with 21 Savage, claiming he and Drake were supposed to cook up a joint project first.
“Truth is, I told Drake I wasn’t feeling a collab right then,” Kodak revealed. “No tracks, no album, nothing – cause we were meant to drop a whole project together before him and shorty did their thing… I’d told him let’s wait till 2023, after February.”
