Paris Hilton’s dropped video showing just how badly the LA fires wrecked her Malibu spot.
The star took to Instagram last week with footage revealing the brutal hit her $8.4 million pad took from the fires. The clip shows Paris walking up to what’s left of her front gate – now just a pile of ash and rubble.
“Here I am, standing in what we used to call home, and I can’t even begin to describe how much this hurts,” she shared in her Insta caption. “When I first caught the news, I was totally stunned—couldn’t even wrap my head around it. But being here now, seeing it myself, feels like someone’s ripped my heart to pieces.”
“This wasn’t just any house—it was our dream spot, full of laughs and precious family moments,” she added. “It’s where little Phoenix made his first artwork that I’ll keep forever, where every corner held so much love and life. Seeing it all turned to ash… there aren’t words for this kind of pain. Through all this heartbreak, I know I’m blessed. My family, my little ones, and our pets made it out okay. That’s what really matters, and I’m clinging to that thought with all I’ve got.”
Hilton gave major props to the firefighters, first responders and volunteers who’ve been battling the fires tearing through the Palisades, Malibu, and other LA County spots. She reached out to fellow fire victims with hope, saying they’ll bounce back and the city will heal and “come back stronger than ever.”
Paris and her man Carter Reum bought the place back in June 2021. The pad saw them welcome two little ones – son Phoenix in January 2023 and daughter London that November. During a 2023 episode of her I Am Paris podcast, Paris gushed about how perfect the spot was for raising their family.
The same fire that took out Hilton’s place also claimed homes belonging to Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris, John Goodman, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, plus Adam Brody and Leighton Meester. Right now, five fires are still burning, though they’ve managed to get the Sunset Fire under control.
