Meagan Good is speaking up about why she stuck by Jonathan Majors’ side during his assault case, saying she never second-guessed her choice.
Around 18 minutes into her Breakfast Club chat, host Jess Hilarious asked her, “Through the trial and everything, was there even a point in that where you were like, ‘Yo, this is a lot?'”
“No,” Good fired back. “I was talking to God and I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. And I’ve learned along the way that not only will things not always make sense to me, but sometimes it won’t make sense to other people, and that’s okay as long as you are in alignment with God and you’re trusting the path that you’re on.”
She mentioned she hasn’t felt this happy since she was a kid. When Charlamagne cracked, “Did you ever say to him that’s what you get for dating a white woman anyway?” Good didn’t bite, just adding, “Well, love is love at the end of the day.”
Good and Majors kicked off their romance in 2023, right after his arrest for allegedly attacking his ex, Grace Jabbari. She was right there with him through his court dates, where he ended up getting convicted of reckless assault in the 3rd degree and harassment, but beat the assault and aggravated harassment charges. The court hit him with a year of probation and ordered him to complete a domestic violence program.
