Bad Bunny’s claiming the top spot among WWE’s celebrity wrestlers.
While chatting on Hot Ones, when host Sean Evans suggested that Benito might be the greatest celebrity to enter WWE’s ring, the music star didn’t hesitate to make it definitive. In his view, he’s undoubtedly the best celebrity performer WWE has ever seen.
“In my humble opinion, you’re the best celebrity wrestler ever in the WWE,” Evans noted. Bad Bunny fired back with confidence: “That’s your opinion?…No, that’s a fact.”
Bad Bunny kicked off his WWE journey with his wrestling debut at WrestleMania 37, where he wowed audiences with his in-ring talent. His WWE achievements include grabbing the 24/7 Championship belt, jumping into the 2022 Royal Rumble, and bringing WWE’s Backlash event to his homeland Puerto Rico as host in 2023.
In a recent Rolling Stone chat, Bunny shared his desire for one final WWE match to “scare” his mom and put it all on the line. He’s also keen to switch things up by playing a bad guy in his WWE farewell.
“Sometimes, I say, ‘I’m going to quit everything and just do wrestling full time,” Bunny revealed. “I feel like in wrestling, I just go sporadically as a celebrity. I’m going to go full-time and be a heel. That’s what I’d love. [Laughs.] I was always a fan of the villains more than the good guys.”
When Logan Paul heard about Bunny’s comments, he quickly threw down the gauntlet, exciting fans who are eager to see these two face off. Paul’s also made his mark as a celebrity wrestler, putting on great matches and clinching the WWE United States Championship.
