50 Cent jumped in to back up ASAP Rocky while he’s dealing with court drama.
After ASAP Relli (real name Terell Ephron) hit the stand Tuesday to accuse his old friend of pulling a gun and shooting at him in 2021, claiming a bullet grazed his hand, 50 wasn’t buying it and quickly showed whose side he’s on.
“Man I hope Rockie alright this fool just want some money, we seen this movie before it’s a re run, sucker ass smh @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi,” 50 wrote on Instagram alongside a post about Relli’s testimony.
Relli told the court he was listening in on a call between ASAP Bari and Rocky just before the alleged shooting went down. The next day, Rocky supposedly bombarded Relli with calls while he was sleeping, then hit him with a text saying “Let’s get to it … stop ducking my calls.”
According to Relli, Rocky wanted to know which Hollywood hotel he was staying at. Then Rocky showed up with two others, and during their heated exchange, allegedly pulled out a gun. Relli claims he challenged Rocky, saying “You better use that shit, what the fuck you got a gun for.”
“I was willing to die for my respect,” he told the court. “If this is what you want to do, I still have my dignity.”
Relli’s back on the stand Wednesday to keep testifying. TMZ says Rihanna’s gonna be there supporting Rocky, who’s facing two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. If he’s found guilty, he could get up to 24 years behind bars.
Rocky says he’s not guilty and turned down a deal where he’d plead guilty to one assault charge, do 180 days in county jail, get three years probation, and face a seven-year suspended prison sentence.
