DJ Khaled got a strange surprise when someone dropped a coffin right at his Miami crib, seemingly taking shots at his beef with Drake.
TMZ says two people rolled up to Khaled’s place in a truck on Saturday, Feb. 15, telling the security guard they were from some delivery company. They left behind this black casket at his gate with a rough upside down white cross painted on it, plus the words ‘RIP OVO’ and ‘RIP Drake.’
According to police, these delivery folks got real dramatic – dropped to their knees and started praying in front of the coffin before bouncing. Khaled’s security wasn’t playing around though – had the whole thing trashed and destroyed. Cops aren’t digging deeper into this one, but it’s giving major déjà vu to what went down at Tekashi 6ix9ine’s spot in Florida, minus the Drake references.
TMZ dropped the news last week about 6ix9ine getting his own black casket with an upside down cross, but his had “RIP King Von” written on it – bringing up his old beef with Von, who was killed in Atlanta back in 2020. Cops went all out on that one, called in the bomb squad and everything, but all they found was some hand sanitizer inside. 6ix9ine actually thought it was kind of cool and wanted to keep it.
Nobody knows if these coffin stunts are connected or if it’s the same people behind them, but this one hitting Khaled’s place comes right after Drake threw shade at him. See, Khaled had just dropped this 7-minute trailer for his upcoming album Aalam of God, showing off two Drake collabs. But Drake wasn’t having it – hit back with “Must be Drake Bell.”
