T-Pain has made it crystal clear he’s not joining the celebrity private jet club and is sticking with commercial flights.
On Tuesday, Teddy Pendergrass dropped a post on Instagram breaking down why he’ll never fly private because of the ridiculous cost. T-Pain showed that flying private from Las Vegas to Atlanta would set him back over $100,000, while going commercial costs just $54 to $260.
“To take a private jet from Atlanta, to Vegas and then back to Atlanta is $126,000. And y’all are asking me… Do you understand what I’m saying?” he laughed. “Are you okay now? Do you feel like it? No private debt jet? What? You not taking a private jet? You’re not spending all this money to go make money. Why would you do that? In what world is that smart? Then y’all will be like he broke again.”
Several of T-Pain’s industry friends backed him up, with Timbaland commenting, “Don’t do it !!!!!!!” on the post, and Big Sean adding, “Facts […] Bruhhhh.” Even Delta Airlines jumped in with “Make it make sense” under the post.

T-Pain just kicked off the Global Gaming League, a multi-title gaming entertainment league that’s going to “revolutionize the industry,” according to a press release. In his statement, T-Pain shared how this new league will become a household name.
“The GGL will make gaming a household name,” said T-Pain. “It’s the fastest growing form of entertainment in the world, and we all game, yet, it’s completely disconnected from mainstream, pop-culture, and the streets. This is what The Global Gaming League is going to change.”
