Despite appearances following the 97th Academy Awards, Chelsea Handler and Ralph Fiennes aren’t romantically linked.
After the 2025 Oscars, the pair were spotted at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and left together. When asked about this on Entertainment Tonight this week, the former Chelsea Lately host clarified there was nothing going on between her and the British actor.
Handler explained that she and Fiennes “went from one party to another party” not as a date but “with a group of people.”
“I don’t think Ralph Fiennes is marriage material,” Handler continued. “And I don’t think I’m marriage material.”
While she noted that she and Fiennes “might be a good pairing in that sense,” she doesn’t believe that “either one of us is getting married.”
Though Handler recently reflected on her past relationship with 50 Cent, she revealed on an episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show this week that she’s currently seeing someone new.
“I have someone that I’m seeing now that I’m very attracted to and that I like having sex with, and so that’s a really good, nice little thing I have going,” Handler shared around the 9:30-minute mark of the video below.
The comedian also opened up about why she sees herself not as a “relationship person” but rather a “purpose person.”
“My purpose is here, to be here to have conversations like the one we’re having right now, to infuse people with optimism, to be there for women–that is my purpose in this life, whether they’re more lives or not,” she shared.
