Amber Rose says she’s discovered a “dark side” to feminism that she wants nothing more to do with.
The model and TV personality, who organized several SlutWalk events in the 2010s, appeared on the latest episode of Club Shay Shay podcast, uploaded to YouTube on Thursday (March 6). During its run, SlutWalk attracted other celebrities like Blac Chyna and Rose’s ex-boyfriend, 21 Savage.
Around the 1:45:00 mark in the video above, Rose and host Shannon Sharpe talked about co-parenting, with Rose revealing she never took her sons’ fathers, Wiz Khalifa and AE, to court.
When asked if women tried to get pregnant to financially take advantage of men, Rose admitted she’s witnessed it firsthand. “I’ve had girlfriends lie about abortions to get money, to act like they’re pregnant. Yes, it’s disgusting,” Rose told Sharpe.
“This is why I stopped my SlutWalk, by the way. This is why I’m no longer a feminist because I saw the dark side of what women can do,” she added. “I’m sitting here feeling slighted by men, and then I’m fighting for equality, and I’m like, ‘The only equality is that you bitches ain’t shit, either.'”
Rose then accused some feminists of “extorting men” and “lying about pregnancies” and lying about their use of birth control to “trap” men.
“Not to sound vulgar, but if a man c*ms inside of you and you say that you’re on birth control, he trusts you,” Rose added. “It’s fucked up that you would trap him like that. You don’t do that to people.”
Though Rose nearly brought SlutWalk back in 2022, she canceled the yearly event in 2019 around the time of her second pregnancy. In her Instagram announcement ending SlutWalk, the 41-year-old revealed that “toxic” relationships led her to shut it down.
“Fuck fake friends and their weirdo shit,” she wrote in the now-deleted Instagram post. “I’d rather just have my family and my team. P.S This is also why I’m not having my SlutWalk this year…. Sorry I just have to protect my energy and peace.”
Elsewhere in her Club Shay Shay interview, Rose discussed the support—or lack thereof—surrounding her ex, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West), suggesting that not having a strong circle could explain his recent online behavior. She also claimed he’s behind his wife Bianca Censori’s recent revealing outfits.
