Gelo Premieres Unreleased Track at Rolling Loud That Sounds Like a Smash

LiAngelo Ball debuted an unreleased track during his Rolling Loud set that’s already generating buzz online.

Along with performing his viral hit “Tweaker,” Gelo surprised fans with a brand new song. The track has the same high-energy, anthem-like quality as his debut single, but opens with “Play with me, and it’s gonna go down” instead of his signature lines about swerving and bending corners.

LiAngelo Ball’s upcoming track performed at Rolling Loud could potentially match the success of his hit “Tweaker,” which has been a serious moneymaker. According to Billboard, the song has generated around $640,000 since release.

Boosted by the Lil Wayne remix, “Tweaker” has racked up over 90 million on-demand streams, earning $476,500 from master recording rights and $161,500 from publishing.

In January, Gelo signed with Def Jam and Universal Music Group in a deal reportedly worth $13 million ($8 million guaranteed) that includes full ownership of his masters.

Speaking with Complex’s Speedy Morman about his label decision, Gelo explained: “They all reached out for real, but I don’t know. Me and my team got together and we had long talks with the labels for real. We took some meetings.”

“I’m just going with what’s sounding the best to me at the end of the day,” he added. “We talking to them like, man to man, like, ‘We need this, this, this,’ and that’s what they got done for us. And they showed love too, bro.”

Gelo confirmed his net worth now exceeds $800,000.
