TikToker Faces Manslaughter Charges After Deadly Crash Kills Mom and Two Kids

A well-known TikToker plowed into pedestrians in Brooklyn last weekend, killing a mom and her two little daughters.

According to Dexerto, Miriam Yarimi now faces three counts of second-degree manslaughter, three counts of criminally negligent homicide, and four counts of second-degree assault.

The two young girls who lost their lives were just eight and four years old. The family’s 4-year-old son was also hit and remains in critical condition.

Police say Yarimi lost control of her Audi, crashed into another car, causing her vehicle to veer into a crosswalk where it struck nine pedestrians. She was allegedly driving with a suspended license and was arrested the following day.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams described the deadly crash as a “tragic tragedy” before visiting the victims’ home.

“Number one, the person should not have been on the road. [They have a] suspended license. We’re going to ensure that this is investigated to the full extent. My heart goes out to the family,” he added.

Beyond her reported 32,000 TikTok followers, the 32-year-old works as a professional wigmaker. Yarimi has racked up numerous driving violations over the years, including 93 traffic infractions and more than $10,000 in fines.
