Benny Blanco revealed an adorable surprise he planned for his fiancée, Selena Gomez, by throwing her the prom experience she missed out on.
In a video posted on Instagram, Blanco shared that he recently discovered Gomez never attended prom during high school. He mentioned this fact during his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show earlier this month, and now he’s given fans a glimpse of the cute and cheesy prom photos they took together.
“My fiancée has never been to prom before,” he said in the video, which you can see below. “So I asked her if we should take prom photos together at a mall. And she said yes! I even rented a limo for us!” The clip shows them visiting a photo studio in a nearby mall and concludes with their full photo shoot.
Blanco threw a prom-themed birthday bash last month after finding out she never experienced prom. “Selena had never been to a prom before, so I thought I’d throw us a prom for my birthday,” he told Hudson earlier this month. “Honestly, my favorite prom was with my partner.”
Earlier this year, Blanco revealed that Gomez’s mom and former manager, Mandy Teefey, introduced them years ago.
