Kesha made it clear she’s not dating the new guy she was recently spotted with.
TMZ caught the “Blow” hitmaker with her casual fling, and Kesha initially tried dodging the cameras before finally responding to the paparazzi’s questions.
“I’m just using him for sex,” Kesha bluntly told them about the man, who maintained a poker face throughout. When questioned about their travel plans, Kesha shut it down with a dismissive “Get outta town.”
While Kesha’s dating history isn’t extensive, the pop star openly discussed jumping back into the dating scene during an Elle interview last year.
“I’m only going to enter into a partnership again if someone treats me as well as I treat myself,” she shared with the magazine. “I kept hearing people say, ‘I’m looking for The One.’ I kept waiting for somebody else to fill that space, and then I just stepped into it myself. You gotta be all those things to yourself—your own boyfriend, sugar daddy, rich husband, best friend, cheerleader.”
In that same conversation, Kesha compared dating in Los Angeles to “digging through the garbage.”
The singer might not be rushing into anything serious as she continues healing from her complicated legal battle with producer Dr. Luke, whom she accused of rape in 2014. Last June, the two artists reached a settlement ending their years-long fight involving defamation lawsuits and countersuits.
