Pusha T had an awkward encounter with a YouTuber claiming to be a “chain snatcher” that nearly turned tense. On Saturday (May 10), YouTuber and rapper Steven Jo shared footage of the “Diet Coke” hitmaker visiting Miami and questioned why he didn’t “tap in” before coming to town.
“What you mean?” asked a visibly concerned King Push.
When Steven Jo introduced himself as the “chain snatcher,” Push simply replied, “Okay,” paused, and gave the content creator a fist bump.
“I just want you to understand the way to tap in and check in properly,” Steven continued, before quickly backpedaling with “just playing.”
When Steven asked for a photo, Push declined and kept walking, especially after the YouTuber called himself a “Zoe.”
The term refers to members of Miami’s Zoe Pound gang, many of whom have Haitian roots, like Steven.
“Ask Zoe about me. That’s my guy – Ali Zoe,” Pusha said, name-dropping the gang’s founder, Ali “Zoe” Adam.
When Push mentioned he’d come back later for a picture with Steven, the YouTuber got upset. The rapper explained why he needed space.
“You said something to me that rubbed me, like, crazy,” Push explained, adding that the comment felt “threatening.”
Steven insisted it was just a “joke” and that “gangstas respect gangstas,” but Push made it clear he wasn’t trying to “be gangsta today.”
“I asked for a picture,” Steven complained. “Be a regular person, just be a humble person.”
The interaction ended with Steven finally getting his photo with the rapper and claiming he was “pushing peace.”
In other videos from last month, Steven boasted about allegedly snatching around $300,000 worth of chains from YouTuber Jack Doherty.
Steven mocked Doherty on social media, including in a song titled “Get Yo Chain Back!”
Speaking of Pusha and jewelry, the rapper made sure to flex his Rolex “Rainbow” Daytona watch during the 2025 Met Gala.
