Though Ray hasn’t directly addressed the recent health speculation, she’s spoken in the past about medical challenges. In 2009, she underwent surgery to remove a benign cyst from her vocal cord. And in an October 2024 episode of her I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead podcast, she briefly mentioned taking “a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks,” though she didn’t go into detail.
