Suge Knight Says Diddy ‘Deserves’ Prison Time for Alleged Cassie Assault

Suge Knight has officially changed his stance on Diddy, saying the music mogul deserves to be behind bars following the disturbing abuse allegations brought to light in recent court proceedings involving Cassie.

Speaking with PEOPLE from California’s Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility—where he’s serving 28 years for a 2015 fatal hit-and-run—the former Death Row Records boss admitted that his view shifted after seeing new evidence, including court testimony and video footage of the alleged assault.

“I never said he should walk away a free man. He does deserve [prison],” Knight said. “This ain’t no, ‘Oh, you beat the shit out of Cassie, oh well.’ No—she’s a woman. You don’t disrespect a woman like that. Everybody should be held accountable—even me. Anyone who does those things to women deserves what’s coming.”

Knight described being deeply unsettled by the footage of Diddy attacking Cassie in a hotel hallway, calling the actions “unacceptable.” “I’ve never seen a woman get dragged, beaten, and disrespected like that,” he said. “When Puff came around that corner, he beat the dog shit out of her.”

He also addressed the wider claims of blackmail and sex trafficking, saying, “It bothers me. I’m far from an angel, but come on. Cassie and these women can’t fight a man. And I don’t believe any woman wants someone pissing on them or in their mouth.”

Suge went on to say the only way Diddy can begin to make things right is by stepping up and telling the truth. “You know how big that would be if he told the truth?” Knight asked. “This trial—everybody’s watching. Why not make it a healing process? If I can man up… Puffy, don’t be a bitch, my n***a. Go in there and man up.”

In a major twist, one of Diddy’s former rivals is now demanding accountability, as legal pressure continues to build around one of hip-hop’s most influential figures.
