Will Smith marked Father’s Day with a heartfelt onstage moment alongside his son, Jaden.
During his performance at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (June 15) for Capital’s Summertime Ball in the UK, Smith invited Jaden to join him in front of the massive crowd.
“If you can just come up for a second and say hi,” Will said, as Jaden made his way to the stage. “Ladies and gentlemen, this is my son, Jaden.”
Will and Jaden shared a warm embrace onstage before Will turned to the crowd and said, “Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there.” As Jaden waved and walked off, Will added proudly, “That’s my guy right there.”
In another moment from the show, Jaden was caught on camera hyped up as his dad performed the classic hit “Miami.”
Will later posted a video of their hug on Instagram, along with more sweet clips featuring his other children—spending time with Willow as she decorated a cake while he playfully teased her, and joking around with his eldest son, Trey, in a lighthearted back-and-forth.
Will Smith recently returned to music with Based on a True Story – Season 1: Rave in the Wasteland, his first album in two decades.
He’s now getting ready to hit the road for his first-ever headlining tour in support of the project, kicking off on July 13 in Hamburg, Germany. The tour will take him through France, the UK, Italy, Morocco, and other stops around the world.
