Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans officially closed the chapter on her second marriage with a celebration at a New York strip club last week.
The reality star hit up Spearmint Rhino on Friday, June 12, to mark the end of her marriage to David Eason, her husband of seven years. Ahead of the party, Evans sat down with DJ Drewski on Hot 97, where she opened up about her decision to end things with Eason.
The two share an 8-year-old daughter, Ensley Jolie, while Evans also has two older sons from past relationships. She was previously married to Courtland Rogers from 2012 to 2014.
On air, Evans revealed that her “breaking point” came down to infidelity and Eason “not taking care of his family.” She explained, “I feel like everything was on my shoulders—like the mortgage payments, taking care of the kids—I feel like I had no help.”
Evans went on to share that by the end of the relationship, she and Eason were so distant they felt more like “roommates” than a couple.
“I just can’t go back from everything I went through,” she said. “The toxicity, the anger, the anxiety of it all.”
Back in March, Jenelle Evans announced she had filed for separation with a cheeky TikTok. She followed it up with another video explaining North Carolina’s “particular” divorce law, which requires a one-year separation period before a divorce can be finalized.
