Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox may have had a sudden and dramatic split, but MGK is now fully embracing fatherhood.
The former couple reportedly broke up during a vacation just weeks into Fox’s pregnancy. But two months after welcoming their baby girl, MGK took to Instagram on June 17 to share her unique name—and showed love to his ex in the process.
“Saga Blade Fox-Baker thank you for the ultimate gift @meganfox,” he captioned a sweet video of himself playing the ukulele for their daughter.
“Ready?” MGK asked gently in the video, as his baby girl, barely visible, rocked in a nearby chair. When she made a tiny sound, he smiled and responded, “Yeah,” continuing to strum his ukulele. The sweet moment quickly gained traction online, racking up over 143,000 likes in just four hours—though MGK had the comments turned off.
The Emo Girl artist has previously expressed his devotion to fatherhood, telling E! News back in May, “I was born to be a dad. Yeah, it’s my purpose.”
His post also cleared up a wild rumor circulating among fans that the baby had been named “Celestial Seed,” a claim Page Six said originated from a cryptic video MGK shared on Instagram after the baby’s birth on March 27.
“She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed,” MGK wrote in a post back in March, alongside a video of him gently holding his baby’s tiny hand.
That caption sparked a wave of speculation, with some fans hilariously misreading it as the baby’s actual name. “People thinking they actually named the baby celestial seed is sending me,” one fan commented.
According to TMZ, Megan Fox and MGK, who got engaged in 2022, ended things during a Thanksgiving trip to Vail, Colorado—just weeks after she revealed she was pregnant with their first child. The outlet reported that Fox left the vacation early after allegedly discovering something upsetting on MGK’s phone.
