48-year-old comedian Charleston White stepped into the ring for his boxing debut at Adin Ross and Brand Risk Promotions’ latest event in Nashville on Sunday (June 22), and walked away with a win after Island Boys’ Kodiyakredd quit mid-fight.
White faced off against 23-year-old Kodiyakredd—real name Franky Venegas—in the main event, joining a lineup that included Scam Likely, Supah Hot Fire, Julian Newman, and Gio Wise. Kodiyakredd, no stranger to Adin Ross’s boxing events, had already racked up two losses before this bout. His most notable moment came when he was escorted out of a previous event after getting knocked out in the first round by Twitch streamer Oblivion.
Coming into this match, White had Milton Lacroix—who’s previously coached Logan Paul—training in his corner. The fight started off on even ground, but things took a turn in the second round when White landed a solid punch that visibly shook Kodiyakredd. Not long after, Kodiyakredd made it clear he was done, ending the fight and adding another loss to his now 0-3 record.
At the same event, things took a turn off the mat when Charleston White claimed that Kodiyakredd’s girlfriend assaulted his wife, Tamara White, by spitting on her.
“His girl spit on my girl,” White said while speaking with Adin Ross. “That’s assault. So we going to ask [the] police department to file a criminal charge against Island Boy girlfriend. Then I’m going to get him civily.”
Ross offered to help, saying he’d connect White with his lawyer if he was serious about pursuing legal action. “Lawyer Goldstein, he’s gonna make sure he’s good, I’ll pay your lawyer fees,” Ross assured. White responded with, “Sound like a Jew to me, so let’s hire ’em.”
