Victoria Beckham Snaps Sweet Photo of David in Hospital: ‘Get Well Soon Daddy’

Even in the hospital, David Beckham had his biggest supporter by his side—his wife, Victoria Beckham.

On Friday, June 27, Victoria took to Instagram Stories to share a heartfelt message for her husband, posting a photo of him resting in a hospital bed. Dressed in a hospital gown and sporting a blue sling on his right arm, David looked a bit groggy but in good hands. Her caption read simply: “Get well soon daddy.”

Victoria Beckham continued showing love for her husband David as he recovered in the hospital, posting a close-up of his tattooed hand holding a beaded bracelet with the message: “Get well soon.”

In another post, she tagged him in a photo featuring a box and bags of Bee Up, the non-GMO honey-based fruit snack he recently launched.

Later that day, Victoria shared a lighthearted video of David back on his feet, standing in front of a counter overflowing with lettuce and cucumbers—his arm still in a sling. “Look, he’s overperforming on the cucumber front,” she joked as he held up a massive cucumber with his good arm.

David, never missing a beat, replied dryly, “I’m not sure you can say that darling.”

The couple hasn’t confirmed what exactly put David in the hospital, though it may be linked to lingering injuries from his soccer career. Back in 2003, he broke his wrist during a match against South Africa but held off on treatment until the game was over.

More recently, reports suggested an x-ray revealed that a screw used in the old wrist repair hadn’t dissolved as expected and had instead migrated into his forearm.

The wrist isn’t the only battle scar from his playing days. During his time with LA Galaxy, he discovered severe back pain was actually due to a cracked vertebra—an injury he once called “a bad one.”

“Certain parts of my body were a real mess,” David once admitted.
