Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift might be one of the most talked-about couples around, but the Kansas City Chiefs star wants fans to know they’re not chasing clout during the NFL offseason.
Speaking on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, which dropped Tuesday, July 1, Kelce addressed the public’s perception of their relationship. “It gets thrown out there, like we’re trying to seek attention every now and then,” he said. “We’re just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games, kinda introducing her to some more of the sports world.”
The couple, both 35, were seen together in Nashville last month while Kelce was attending Tight End University — the three-day training event he co-founded. During the trip, Swift made waves by surprising fans (and Kelce) with a live performance of “Shake It Off” at the Tight End & Friends concert on June 24 at Brooklyn Bowl.
They’ve also been spending downtime in Boca Raton, Florida, where Kelce has been training. On June 12, the pair showed up together at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida.
With the NFL season kicking off this fall, Kelce is preparing to head back to the field — but this time, Swift won’t be on the road with her Eras Tour. “We’ll have Tay representing up at Arrowhead [Stadium]” in Kansas City, Kelce teased on the podcast.
